The St. Petersburg Youth Baseball Association and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6827
The All-Star Bombers and VFW Post 6827 held their ribbon ceremony Saturday, October 17, 2009. Present were the players and coaches of the All-Star Bombers, Dick Crippen, Senior Advisor for the Tampa Bay Rays, State Representative Rick Kriseman, District 53, Pinellas County Sheriff Jim Coats and the officers of VFW Post 6827.
Parking and security were provided by the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Defenders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. Food and refreshments by the Ladies Auxiliary. Entertainment by Raymond.
The weather was perfect and everyone enjoyed a great afternoon of AAU Baseball. The VFW is proud to provide a home for the All-Star Bombers and we look forward to following our teams successes in the future. The VFW recognizes the importance of youth activities and programs like the St. Petersburg Youth Baseball Association. We welcome the young athletes and their families.
