The Ladies Auxiliary held their annual Children's Christmas Party December 19th. Many youngsters and their parents showed up for the fun. Games were played while the young people waited for Santa to arrive. Finally Santa arrived at the post, as he does every year. This time he was escorted by nearly 20 motorcycles ridden by the elves of the Defenders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. Santa dismounted his red Harley and immediately began laughing and talking to the many young children who had been waiting for him.

Santa talked with each of the children. Asked them if they were behaving and minding their parents. Most of them answered that yes they were. Many hesitated when he asked if they cleaned up their rooms. After talking with the kids Santa moved into the hall and gifts were passed out to the children. It was another great party. Everyone had a good time. And everyone, the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW and Men's Auxiliary pulled together to make this a great Christmas for many children. A slideshow of the event can be seen here.
